Hi Alex,

I just got home last weekend (9/29) from my Quebec Moose hunt. It rained every day and the temperatures were very warm so the rut activity was very low. We did not see any moose, but we did hear some and had fresh sign. Maybe next year. Cow-Winkle (my decoy) was a big hit and I left her for the outfitter to use along with my scapula and fiberglass calling horn.

Despite our lack of success this year, I feel that your Moose Madness DVD set fully prepared me for the hunt. I felt like I had all the knowledge necessary to take a bull moose. The outfitter and guide said my calling was very good and I even hunted alone a couple of days. I was very proud I learned so much from you before I went to Quebec, and our many discussions on moose behavior while in camp just confirmed the knowledge I had already gained from your DVDs.

I hope to return next year and try again — I’m ready — All we need is better weather to get the animals moving.
